In today’s economy, we expect the businesses behind the products we love to view the environment and communities around us as key stakeholders in their decision making. The wine industry is no exception.
We developed the RGI Wine Index© to account for such practices within the global wine industry by directly measuring the impact that vineyards and wineries intentionally have on their communities and in contributing to a healthy planet.
We use the results of our research to help provide wineries with actionable guidance for improving their impact scores, in addition to using these scores to inform our process for selecting partners we work with for our Societās wines.
